Thursday 3:00 Thanksgiving Potluck Jefferson Event Center
Please join us for a traditional Thanksgiving feast with a potluck spark and flare. Our staff will prepare the quality turkeys with stuffing, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes and fine beverages while our RVer guests will sign-up and bring a diverse and plentiful assortment of fine side dishes, from green bean casserole, to unique stuffing, to mac & cheese, to fluff salad and more. (Please let us know what you will be bringing so that we can ensure we have enough of every dish and not too much of one dish.) We will provide the crowning touch for this warm and sharing event by providing several types of the finest pies from our neighbor: Yoder’s Market. Yes, we have so much for which to be THANKFUL, starting with our community of respectful people.
Friday 5:30 – 7 Bingo, Cowboy Beans & Fine Beverages Jefferson Event Center
Come meet your friends and neighbors and enjoy our cowboy beans paired with black skillet cornbread and fine beverages. This is the ultimate comfort food. Around 6:15 we transition to a fast-paced Bingo that has a 100% payout with a jackpot of about $200 from the purchase of our five-game card pack for $5 (cash only). Doors open at 5:30.
Saturday 10 – 11 Crafts: Fall Paper Plate Wreaths Polk Crafts Room
Unleash your creative side by creating a beautiful paper plate wreath with Fall leaves and twigs. The high caliber of creativity is sure to please the family. Several additional crafts will be available as supervised by our staff. This event is in the Polk Arts and Crafts Room, adjacent to the ice cream/pizza parlor in our Washington Complex building.
11 – noon More Crafts: Wine Cork Ornaments Polk Crafts Room
While in the creative mode, stay in the Polk Arts and Crafts room to create cute Christmas ornaments made from recycled wine corks. Make a snowflake ornament or Christmas tree ornament out of corks to give as a gift or to hang on your own tree. Add ribbon, paint or glitter to customize your ornament. All materials will be provided for a $5 per person donation to the Madison animal shelter.
1 – 2 Ice Cream & Games Polk Crafts Room
Join us at the Polk Crafts Room for a kid games like Hangman, Holiday Trivia and Simon Says. Each kid who participates will be given a voucher for one scoop of our fine ice cream! Parents and adults can also join in on the fun or hangout in the Taylor Billiard Room for open billiard play on our professional grade tables or simply enjoy our indoor, super-fast, 22-foot shuffleboard table that is simply awesome!
6:00 Italian Dinner: Homemade Baked Ziti Jefferson Event Center
With gusto, we offer an authentic baked Ziti, Italian-American bistro style, with fresh garlic bread, a house salad with Italian or Ranch dressing, fine Italian beverages and homemade cannoli with mascarpone filling and chocolate drizzle for dessert. This may prove to be the “best ever” baked Ziti dinner. There is limited seating so please reserve early at the office or call 540-948-4186. Only $8 per person (with a suggested $2 donation to the Madison animal shelter).
Sunday 9 – 10 Pancake Breakfast Galore Jefferson Event Center
Start your day with a hot breakfast featuring homemade pancakes with maple syrup, crepes with powdered sugar, classic homemade biscuits and gravy, warm breakfast pizza, fresh fruit, muffins, juice and fine coffee. Only $5 (age 3 & up) at the door or sign up at office.
