THURSDAY 5/23

1:00pm – Teddy Mountain Stuffy Animals – $15 – Polk Room

Create your own Stuffed Animal, by purchasing a unstuffed toy at the Office and then come down to the Polk Room to stuff your friend, give a birth certificate and name!

2:00 – Scavenger Hunt – Polk Craft Room

Join us for a delightful and interesting “Photo Scavenger Hunt” to find

Madison Vines’ Treasures scattered throughout the property!

All kids under 18 who participate and complete the list will enjoy a free ice cream cone from our

Fillmore Ice Cream & Pizza Parlor.

5:30 – Movie Night – Polk Room

Come and watch classic movie “Sandlot” at the Polk Room where we will be selling drinks and

snacks to make your movie night complete! Pizza will be 25% off on movie night.

FRIDAY 5/24

Memorial Day weekend Crafts & Bingo

2:00pm – Kids Fingerprint Star Painting – Polk Craft Room

Join us for a fun and easy patriotic star fingerprint craft. First we will cut out a star and

put the star on a piece of paper, then begin randomly making fingerprints along the star

using red, white and blue paint; then remove the star cut out and voila! A patriotic star!

4:00 PM Billiard Tournament – Taylor Billiard Room

We are offering a $10 buy-in 9-ball tournament for the first 8 people who sign up.

Legally pocket the 9-ball to win your match on our tournament-quality, Olhausen tables.

The final two people compete in an 8-ball tournament for the $80 pot.

5:30- Bingo – Smash Burgers – $5/person – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for Smashed Burgers and Kettled chips before a round of Bingo.

Food is $5 per person.  

Around 6:00, we transition to a fast-paced Bingo with a full payout.

Memorial Day weekend Car Show & Cookout & 5 star dinner

Join us for a Car Show, Wine Tasting, Dinner & Music

9:00am – Morning Cartoons – Polk Room

Come enjoy a nice quiet morning with cartoons, coloring,

and some hot chocolate before you start your day!

10:00 – Kids Craft – Polk Room

Come to the Polk to create your memorial day picture frame to capture fond memories of great times.

11:00 – Annual Memorial Day Classic Car Show & 50/50 Raffle

Classic Car Show and 50/50 Raffle and Fisher House Fundraiser. Check out and vote on classic cars!

Also while voting on the classic cars, purchase 50/50 raffle tickets: you can buy an arm’s length for $5,

your height for $10 or a classic car’s length for $20! (Cash Only)

*Raffle profits donated to the Fisher House Foundation which provides a “home away from home”

for families of patients receiving medical care at military and VA medical centers.*

11:00 – Cornhole Tournament – Quad

The first eight, two person teams who sign up will enjoy a single elimination format of tournament cornhole. The winning team receives two Amazon gift cards ($25 each).

12:00 – Classic Car and Golf Cart Parade – Jefferson Event Center

The Classic Car Show and Golf Cart Parade will begin on the pavement nearest the Jefferson Event Center.

Decorate your golf cart, bicycle or stroller to join in the parade. The parade succession will drive throughout the park on the paved roads only for our campers to enjoy.

1:00 – Classic Car Winners & 50/50 Raffle Winner Announcement- Jefferson Event Center

The first and second place winners of the Classic Car Show will win a special prizes provided by Madison Vines for their participation. Also the Winner of the 50/50 Raffle will also be announced. The fundraiser will conclude at this time.

* In addition to all donations collected during this event, Madison Vines RV Resort & Cottages

will be making a generous donation to Fisher House. *

2:00 – Tie Dye Shirts – $8/shirt – Washington Complex

Join us for a patriotic Tie Dye shirt craft! Make your shirt into a star with the help of our talented staff!

Purchase T-shirts at the store or bring your own shirt to Tie Dye.

3:00 – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Jefferson Center

Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water squirters. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers,

who have hoses aimed at the wagon to squirt back! This is a kids vs adults competition to see who gets totally drenched!

5:00 – DuCard Winery: Tasting – Jefferson Center

Enjoy a free wine tasting from DuCard Vineyards, their finest whites and reds.

This event will include charcuterie boards with cured meats, veggies, cheeses and crackers.

6:00 – Shrimp with Herbes de Provence – $18 – Jefferson Center

Enjoy a flavorful Herbes de Provence & Garlic Shrimp with wine sauce dinner with fine sides of rice medley, side salad, lemon roasted broccoli and a croissant. The mystery dessert will be special.

7:00 – Live Music: Unsuitables– Quad

Grab your chairs, blankets and don’t forget those ice-cold drinks to listen to rock band: THE UNSUITABLES!!

Kids will be given free glow sticks and bubbles to play while you listen to the music.

9:00 AM- Memorial Day Continental Breakfast – Fillmore Pizza Parlor

Join us for Free Continental Breakfast where we will be serving Breakfast Pizza, Juice & Coffee.

11:00 – Cornhole Tournament #2 – Quad

12:00 – Picnic on the Quad – Jefferson Center

We will be serving the finest Nathan’s hotdogs, and variety chip pack on the Quad.

Lemonade, water and soda will also be included. Only $5 per person.

1:00 – Pool Party with Live Music: Troy Coleman– Pool

Relax at the Pool with live music from Troy Coleman! We will also play some pool games including a rubber ducky race, dancing, water volleyball & sharks and minnows.

2:00 – Water Balloon Toss – Quad

This game requires teams of two to catch a fragile water balloon that is thrown over a long distance by a teammate. Play continues with teams tossing the water balloon to one another until there is only one team left. The winning team members each get a free scoop of ice cream from Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor.

3:00 – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Jefferson Center

Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water squirters. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers, who have hoses aimed at the wagon to squirt back! This is a kids vs adults competition to see who gets totally drenched! Of course, our staff will be monitoring this big time, super soaking, fun activity on a warm summer day.

7:00 – Triple Threat BBQ Platter! $25 Per Person – Jefferson Center

Pulled Pork, Baby Back Ribs, Smoked Turkey, and sides to complement and fresh dessert.

This is a BBQ feast not to be missed. Limited Seating. Reserve Early.

“I was lucky and caught Tony’s “TRIPLE THREAT” BBQ platter last winter while at Indian Waters RV Resort near Palm Springs.   The Triple Threat of Smoked Turkey, Pulled Pork and Baby Back Ribs was formidable. Without doubt, his Baby Backs were the best ribs ever.  PERIOD!  The Pulled Pork and the Smoked Turkey were out of this world and ranks in my top five of all time best.  His 16 foot, state of the art smoker is a thing of beauty.  This guy Tony is a real Texas BBQ master.  No wonder he has won so many awards.”

9:00 – Memorial Day Breakfast Galore – $10 Per Person – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for Breakfast where we will be serving French Toast Casserole with real maple syrup, homemade biscuits and gravy, fresh pound Cake, and Fresh Fruit and Juice. This will be a warm way to say goodbye for all of those who has a really fun experience here at Madison Vines RV Resort & Cottages
