Get your weekend started right with a fun and friendly evening! We’re hosting a casual get-together featuring good food, great company, and a bit of friendly competition. Unwind and enjoy the start of your weekend with friends and fellow guests. Savor a classic Philly Cheese Steak, oozing with cheese and packed with flavor, or try one of our other specialty sandwiches paired with a delicious side. The meal costs only $8.00.

At 6:00 PM, get ready for some brain-teasing fun with our trivia event! Teams of two can compete to answer a variety of questions. The team with the most correct answers will win a prize! Get your thinking caps on and prepare for a night of laughter and friendly competition. Don’t worry if you’re not a trivia expert – it’s all about having a good time! We can’t wait to see you there for an evening of relaxation, great food, and friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend!

Friday, May 1st

5:30 pm – Social Hour & Bingo – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for a fun evening of bingo! On tonight’s menu: Chicken Quesadillas with Refried Beans, beer, wine, and kid-friendly drinks. The meal costs only $5.00. Around 6:00 pm, we will transition into three or four fast-paced games of Bingo. Bingo cards are available at the door for $5.00 and are good for all games.

Saturday, May 2nd

10:00 am – Family Craft – Polk Room

Celebrate color, light, and culture with a Mexican-inspired sun catcher painting craft. This activity combines vibrant hues and traditional motifs to create beautiful window art that glows in the sunlight. The cost of this craft is $5.00 and please sign up at the office.

11:00 am – Soccer Challenge – Quad

Join us for a fun soccer obstacle course! This course will be an exciting way to build agility, coordination, and ball control while keeping the game fun and active. The person to do the course the fastest wins!

12:00 pm – Apron and Bean Relay – Quad

Gather around for this hilarious relay race—the Apron and Bean Relay! There will be two teams, each with a bowl at their starting point. One by one, teammates will put on an apron and a sombrero, run to the pile of beans, scoop as many beans as they can into the apron, then race back to dump the beans into their team’s bowl. The team with the most beans at the end wins!

1:00 pm – Pinata Smash – Quad

Lets smash a Pinata! The Piñata Smash is a festive and energetic game that brings excitement to any celebration. Traditionally part of Mexican festivities, it’s a fun way to combine anticipation, laughter, and sweet rewards.

2:00 pm – Squid Game – Quad

Inspired by the popular “Squid Game” concept, this Mexican-themed version replaces the traditional candy with a tortilla chip for a fun, cultural twist. It’s a lighthearted and creative activity that tests patience, precision, and a steady hand. Each player is given a tortilla chip and a toothpick. Players must carefully trace and cut out the shape from the tortilla chip using only the toothpick. If the tortilla cracks or breaks outside the shape, that player is out. You will be given 5 minutes to cut out your shape. 

3:00 pm – Human Burrito– Quad

The Burrito Wrap Relay is a hilarious and energetic group game that combines teamwork, creativity, and laughter. Perfect for parties, camps, or team-building events, it challenges players to “wrap” their teammates like burritos as quickly as possible. Players will be divided into equal teams of three to five. Each team chooses one “burrito” (the person to be wrapped). Place the blanket or towel at the starting line. On “Go!”, the team lays their burrito on the blanket and quickly wraps them up from head to toe, leaving the face uncovered. Once wrapped, the team carefully carries or rolls their burrito to the finish line. If the blanket unwraps or the burrito falls out, the team must stop and rewrap before continuing. The first team to cross the finish line with their burrito fully wrapped wins.

4:00 pm – Human Pinata – Quad

The Human Piñata game is a lively and laughter-filled twist on the traditional piñata. Instead of hitting a hanging piñata, players chase and try to collect treats from a person acting as the “piñata.” It’s perfect for parties, festivals, or outdoor events.

6:00 pm – Saturday Dinner – Jefferson Event Center

Join Us for a Delicious Dinner!
Head to the Event Center and enjoy a hearty meal featuring Chimichangas, Beans, Spanish Rice, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, and Churro Cheese Cake for dessert.

7:00 pm – Live Music – Fillmore Pizza Parlor

Join us at the Madison Vines Pizza Parlor for an evening of fellowship with friends and live entertainment featuring Rick Hallowell!

Sunday, May 3rd

9:00 am – Sunday Breakfast – Jefferson Event Center

Before you head home today, come on down to the Jefferson Event Center for a hearty breakfast. Enjoy Southwest Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Cheesy Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, Juice and Coffee. All of this for only $8.00.
