Thursday, July 3rd

7:00pm – Movie Night – Jefferson Event Center

Let’s start the holiday weekend off with a great 4th of July family movie – Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny! We’ll start the evening off with Grilled Nathan’s Colossal Hotdogs, chips, beer, wine and kid friendly drinks. All for only $5.00! After dinner we will transition into our movie. Come and experience the return of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in the fifth installment of this beloved swashbuckling series of films. Finding himself in a new era, approaching retirement, Indy wrestles with fitting into a world that seems to have outgrown him. But as the tentacles of an all-too-familiar evil return in the form of an old rival, Indy must don his hat and pick up his whip once more to make sure an ancient and powerful artifact doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. This film is rated PG-13. We will also be serving kid friendly drinks, popcorn and candy. Adults, BYOB for the movie.

Friday, July 4th

9:30am – Cornhole Tournament – Quad

Let’s start the morning off with a friendly game of Cornhole. We will be taking the first ten, two-person teams who sign up for a single elimination format of tournament cornhole. The winning team will each receive a $25.00 gift card. Please sign up your team in office.

10:30am – Slip n’ Slide Kickball – Quad

Come on down to the quad and join us for a fun game of Slip n’ Slide kickball. Slip and slide kickball is a fun variation of the game where the baselines are made slippery, and the bases are pools full of water. This will allow players to slide instead of run when advancing bases. It’s essentially kickball with a water slide element, adding an extra layer of excitement and strategy. We will take teams of 10 to play each other and you are sure to have a fun time!

11:00am – DJ by the Pool – Pool

While hanging out at the pool, enjoy great music by our DJ Chip Harvey.

12:00pm – 4th of July Golf Cart Parade – Quad

Bring those golf carts, decorate them and join us for our Golf Cart Parade. There will be prizes for the Top 3 Best Decorated Carts.

1:00pm – Tray of Water Relay Race – Quad

In this relay race you will be given a tray filled with water cups. The person who gets across the finish line with the most cups still standing will win a scoop of ice cream from the Fillmore Pizza Parlor.

2:00pm – Adult Craft – Polk Room

Adults come join us for a fun time creating hand painted patriotic Terra Cotta clay pots windchimes. What is a flowerpot wind chime you ask? This terracotta flowerpot wind chime is a decorative garden piece made from terracotta flower pots, painted by you that make melodic sounds when the wind blows. These chimes are often created by hanging the pots upside down and adding strings with beads or other elements that jingle or clink against the pots as the wind blows. Cost of this craft is $8.00 and you must sign up in the office.

3:00pm – Super Soaker Wagon – Quad

Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water squirter. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers, who have hoses aimed at the wagon to squirt back! This is a kids vs adults’ competition to see who gets totally drenched!

5:30pm – Social Hour & Bingo – Jefferson Event Center

Join us in the Jefferson for Smash Burgers, Seasoned French Fries, Beer, Wine and kid friendly drinks. Around 6:30pm, we transition to up to four fast-paced bingo games. Cards are $5.00 cash at the door and are good for all games.

8:00pm – Sparklers and S’mores – Fillmore Pizza Parlor

Join us at the pizza parlor for an evening of Sparklers and S’mores. We will provide sparklers and supplies to make smores.

Saturday, July 5th

10:00am – Kids Craft – Polk Room

Kids come on down to the Polk Room and make your very own slime. This project is made with household items and is safe for children and pets.

11:00am – Frozen Shirt Relay Race – Quad

Come on over to the Quad and cool off with this chilling frozen tee shirt race. Each of you will start out with a completely frozen tee-shirt, you will have to unfold it, put it on and the first person to get across the finish line will win a $25.00 gift card.

11:00am – DJ by the Pool – Pool

While hanging out at the pool, enjoy great music by our DJ Chip Harvey.

12:00pm – Scavenger Hunt – Office

Join us for a delightful and interesting “Photo Scavenger Hunt” to find Madison Vines’ Treasures scattered throughout the property!  All kids under 18 who participate and complete the list will enjoy a free scoop of ice cream from our Fillmore Ice Cream & Pizza Parlor. Stop by the office to pick up your list of clues.

1:00pm – Sponge Relay Race – Quad

In this race, one player from each team takes their sponge, runs down to the full bucket, fills the sponge with the water, runs back to squeeze as much water as possible into the empty bucket. Then the next player goes and so on, until they fill their bucket. The team that fills their bucket first wins bragging rights.

2:00pm – Watermelon Eating Contest – Grass on side of office

Do you like watermelon? Then join us in the grass by the office for a watermelon eating contest. In this competitive event you will try to eat a watermelon (usually a quarter or slice) as quickly as possible. The goal is to be the first to finish the watermelon, or the one who has eaten the most watermelon within a specific time limit. Hands are often tied behind the contestants’ backs, forcing them to rely solely on their mouths to eat the watermelon.  The winner will receive a $25.00 gift card.

6:00pm –  Smoked Trifecta Dinner – Jefferson Event Center

In response to popular demand, we are bringing back a favorite! Join us in the event center for a meal that will leave a lasting impression. Our Pit Boss Tony will be slow-cooking brisket, pulled pork and turkey, while our Chef Deb prepares a selection of mouth-watering side dishes, including smoked mac and cheese, pit beans, coleslaw, rolls and rich chocolate cake for dessert, all offered at the unbeatable price of $25.00. This is a culinary experience you won’t want to miss out on.

8:30pm – Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag – Quad

Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag is a version of the classic outdoor game, using glowing lights and other glow-in-the-dark elements like wristbands and markers The game’s goal remains the same: teams try to steal the other team’s “flag” (a glowing orb) and return it to their base without being tagged and sent to “jail” (a glowing marker). 

Sunday, July 6th

9:00am – Sunday Breakfast – Jefferson Event Center

Experience a delightful breakfast at the Jefferson. Our menu boasts Homemade Four-Cheese Quiche, Homemade Blue Crab Quiche, Fresh Danishes, Fresh Fruit, Coffee and Juice all offered at the unbeatable price of eight dollars.
