Movie Night

7:00pm – Movie Night – Jefferson Event Center

Let’s start our weekend off with the family fun movie “Up”.  “Up” is about, a 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl, who is about to fulfill a lifelong dream. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, he flies away to the South American wilderness. But curmudgeonly Carl’s worst nightmare comes true when he discovers a little boy named Russell is a stowaway aboard the balloon-powered house. We will also have popcorn, candy and drinks available.

Friday, May 23rd

3:00pm – Scavenger Hunt – Starts at the office

Join us for a delightful and interesting “Photo Scavenger Hunt” to find Madison Vines’ Treasures scattered throughout the property!  All kids under 18 who participate and complete the list will enjoy a free scoop of ice cream from our Fillmore Ice Cream & Pizza Parlor. Stop by the office to pick up your list of clues.

4:00pm – Kids Horseshoe Tournament – Quad

Join us on the Quad for our first ever Kids Horseshoe Tournament.  The first player throws both horseshoes at the opposite stake one after the other. The second player then does the same thing. The score for the end is then calculated and the players play the next end by reversing direction and throwing at the other stake. The first kid that reaches 5 will win the game and move on to the next until only 1 kid is left standing. We will have kids friendly horseshoes and distances. The winner of the event will win a $25.00 gift card.

5:30pm – Social Hour & Bingo – Jefferson Event Center

If you missed the movie last night, but are looking for family fun today, come on down to the Jefferson. We will be grilling some of the best Smash Burgers you’ve ever had along with French Fries, beer, wine and drinks for the kids for only $5.00.  Around 6:30pm, we transition to up to four fast-paced bingo games with 100% payouts. Cards are $5.00 cash at the door and are good for all games.

Saturday, May 24th

10:00am – Build a Bird House – Polk

Come join us in the Polk and build a bird house with us. Choose from the different designs of houses, build yours and then decorate it to make it your very own masterpiece. When you are finished you can place them in your garden or hang them from your favorite tree. Cost for this craft is $8.00 and please sign up in the office.

11:00am – Annual Memorial Day Classic Car Show & 50/50 Raffle

Classic Car Show and 50/50 Raffle and Fisher House Fundraiser. Check out and vote on classic cars! Also, while voting on the classic cars, purchase 50/50 raffle tickets: you can buy an arm’s length for $5, your height for $10 or a classic car’s length for $20! (Cash Only)

*Raffle profits donated to the Fisher House Foundation which provides a “home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at military and VA medical centers.*

11:00am – Cornhole Tournament #1 – Quad

Join us at the Quad for the first of two Cornhole tournaments this weekend. We will be taking the first ten, two-person teams who sign up for a single elimination format of tournament cornhole. The winning team will each each receive a $25.00 gift card. Please sign up your team in office.

12:00pm – Classic Car and Golf Cart Parade – Jefferson Event Center

The Classic Car Show and Golf Cart Parade will begin in front of the Jefferson Event Center. Decorate your golf cart, bicycle or stroller to join in the parade. The parade succession will drive throughout the park on the paved roads only for our campers to enjoy.

1:00pm – Classic Car Winners & 50/50 Raffle Winner Announcement- Jefferson Event Center

The first and second place winners of the Classic Car Show will win a special prizes provided by Madison Vines for their participation. Also the Winner of the 50/50 Raffle will also be announced. The fundraiser will conclude at this time.

2:00pm – Tie Dye Shirts – Washington Complex

Join us for a patriotic Tie Dye shirt craft! Make your shirt into a star with the help of our talented staff! Purchase T-shirts at the store for only $8.00 or bring your own shirt to Tie Dye.

3:00pm – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Jefferson Center

Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water squirter. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers, who have hoses aimed at the wagon to squirt back! This is a kids vs adults competition to see who gets totally drenched!

6:00pm – Cajun Shrimp Boil – Jefferson Event Center

After a fun day of cars and games, come on over to the Jefferson Event Center and enjoy an authentic  Cajun Shrimp Boil with Andouille Sausage, Corn on the Cob, Red Potatoes, Cornbread, Old Fashioned Cherry Cobbler, beer wine and drinks for the kids. All of this for just $15.00.

7:00pm – Live Entertainment – Quad

After dinner, join us at the Quad for live music by Troy Coleman. Troy has been coming to Madison Vines for several years now and is a resort favorite.

Sunday, May 25th

10:00am – Adult Craft – Polk Room

Come on down to the Polk room and join us for a fun craft. This craft kit will provide you with everything you need to create a clothes pin wreath to hang as a wall decoration or on your front door. Once assembled, this red, white and blue wreath adds a patriotic spirit to your home for everyday expression of patriotic pride. Cost of this of craft is only $8.00 and must sign up in the office.

11:00am – Cornhole Tournament #2 – Quad

Join us on the Quad for a delicious lunch to include Nathan’s Hotdogs and Chips along with lemonade, water and soda. All for only $5 per person.

2:00pm – Water Balloon Toss – Quad

This game requires teams of two to catch a fragile water balloon that is thrown over a long distance by a teammate. Play continues with teams tossing the water balloon to one another until there is only one team left. The winning team members each get a free scoop of ice cream from Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor.

3:00pm – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Jefferson Center

Tonight we will be serving Smoked Braided Pork Tenderloin, Crisp Garden Salad, Wild Rice, Roasted Broccoli, Rolls, Apple Crisp, beer, wine, and drinks for the kids. All of this for only $10.00.

Monday, May 26th
