We’re excited to invite you to a fun-filled evening at The Jefferson! Enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a lively round of bingo with friends and family.

Menu Highlights:  Chicken Wings with a variety of sauces, Potato Salad, Beer & Wine for adults, Kid-friendly drinks for the little ones.

Grab your swimsuit, floatie, and a drink—then join us in the pool for a movie if you dare! Tonight, we’re celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the original Jaws movie with a special poolside screening.

Event Details: Movie: Jaws (1975), Where: In the pool (or poolside seating available), When: Tonight!

If you’re feeling brave, float in the water while the suspense unfolds. Prefer to stay dry? No worries—there’s plenty of seating around the pool for you to enjoy the film from the safety of land.

Please Note: There will be no snacks available for tonight’s event, so be sure to bring your own refreshments if you’d like.

9:30am – Adult Cornhole Tournament – Quad

Start Your Morning with a Friendly Game of Cornhole!

 Let’s kick off the morning with some fun and friendly competition! We’re hosting a Cornhole tournament and inviting you to join in.

Here’s how it works: We’re taking the first ten, two-person teams who sign up, The tournament will be single elimination—once you lose, you’re out, so bring your A-game! And, the winning team will each receive a $25.00 gift card.

How to Join: Sign up in the office as soon as possible—spots are limited to the first ten teams! Grab a teammate, come up with a fun team name, and get ready to toss some bags. We can’t wait to see who will be crowned Cornhole Champions!

10:30am – Slip n’ Slide Kickball – Quad

Looking for a way to beat the heat and have some fun? Join us on the quad for an exciting game of Slip n’ Slide Kickball!

This isn’t your ordinary kickball game—our version features slippery baselines and bases that are actually pools full of water! Instead of running, you’ll be sliding your way from base to base, adding a splash of excitement and a whole new level of strategy to the classic game.

So grab your friends, put on your best sliding attire, and come ready for some unforgettable fun. Whether you’re a kickball pro or just looking for a good time, Slip n’ Slide Kickball is sure to make your day!

There’s nothing quite like a sunny day spent lounging by the pool—except when it’s paired with the perfect soundtrack. This weekend, elevate your poolside experience with the incredible sounds of DJ Chip Harvey!

12:00pm – Kids Cornhole Tournament – Quad

Let’s start the afternoon off with a kid friendly game of Cornhole. We will take the first ten, two-person teams who sign up for a single elimination format of tournament Cornhole. The winning team will each receive a $25.00 gift card. Please be sure to sign up in the office.

1:30pm – Adult Craft – Polk Room

Adults join us in the Polk Room for sparkling craft. Diamond Art is becoming the new rage and we are bringing it to Madison Vines just for the adults. Choose your design and we will teach you how to make the most amazing bookmark you have ever seen. Cost for this craft is $10.00 and you must sign up in the office. 

3:00pm – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Quad

Kids vs. Adults Hay Wagon Water Battle!

Get ready for the ultimate splash showdown! Here’s what you need to know: All Aboard the Hay Wagon!
Kids will climb onto the hay wagon, each armed with a mega water squirter (don’t worry—we’ll provide them!). If you have a favorite water blaster at home, feel free to bring it along for extra soaking power.

We’ll have big bins of water on the wagon, so you can keep your squirters loaded and ready for action throughout the ride.

The Challenge is as the wagon rolls by, the kids will unleash a watery barrage on the RVers, who will be waiting with their own hoses, ready to squirt back! It’s a friendly but fierce competition: kids vs. adults, to see who ends up the most drenched.

Who Will Win? Will the kids soak the grown-ups, or will the adults defend their turf? There’s only one way to find out—join the fun and get ready to get wet!

5:30pm – Smoked Baby Back Ribs Night at Jefferson Event Center!

We’re firing up the smoker and serving a guest favorite tonight—so come on down to the Jefferson Event Center for a mouthwatering meal you won’t want to miss!

Tonight’s Menu: Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Coleslaw, Pit Beans, Smoked Mac & Cheese, Cornbread, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. All of this deliciousness for just $15.00!

How to Join: Purchase your $15.00 meal tickets in the office by 2:00 pm Friday afternoon to reserve your plate.

10:00am – Kids Craft – Polk Room

Join us in the Polk room and make your very own custom pencil holder. With school in full swing or just around the corner, these custom one of a kind pencil holders are sure to make your desk a hit. Cost of this craft is $8.00 and you must sign up in the office.

11:00am – DJ by the Pool

11:00am – Frozen Shirt Relay Race – Quad

Come on over to the Quad and cool off with this chilling frozen tee shirt race. Each of you will start out with a completely frozen shirt, you will have to untangle it, put it on and the first person to get across the finish line wins a scoop of ice cream from the Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor,

1:00pm – Sponge Relay Race – Quad

In this race, one player from each team takes their sponge, runs down to the full bucket, fills the sponge with the water, runs back to squeeze as much water as possible into the empty bucket. Then the next player goes and so on, until they fill their bucket. The team that fills their bucket first, wins bragging rights.

2:00pm – Watermelon Eating Contest

Do you like watermelon? Join us on the grass by the office for a watermelon eating contest. In this competitive event you will try to eat as many slices of watermelon as quickly as possible. The goal is to be the first to finish the watermelon slices and the one who has eaten the most slices within a specific time limit. Hands are often tied behind the contestant’s backs, forcing them to rely solely on their mouths to eat the watermelon. The winner will receive a $25.00 gift card.
