Friday June 30
5:30 – 6:30pm:
Bingo & A Delicious Snack

Come meet your friends and neighbors while enjoying complimentary a delicious homemade corned beef hash and garlic bread with beverages galore. Around 6pm we will transition to a fast-paced Bingo that has a 100% payout from the purchase of our five game card pack for $5 (cash only). The payouts from each game op Gun Maverick like never before.
8:30pm
Outdoor Movie: TOP GUN MAVERICK
Quadrangle
Our lush Astro turf quadrangle between the Pool and the Jefferson Event Center will host a HUGE outdoor movie screen (bigger than Texas) with massive speakers so you will feel the sound of TOP GUN MAVERICK like never before. Bring a lawn chair and beverage or enjoy our popcorn and beverages to experience something really unique. This event is not to be missed.
Saturday July 1
10 – 11am:
Craft Time: Stuffy Animal Fun.
Polk Crafts Room
Purchase your extra cute stuffy at the Reception Center for $10 (small) or $15 (large) and then enjoy creating your special toy animal to take home as a special memento of a beautiful July 4th holiday. We also will have several additional crafts supervised by our staff to fascinate the kids imagination.
11 – 12 noon:
Tie Dye Magic
Polk Crafts Room
Children and adults are invited to create unique designs for their Tie Dye T-shirt. Make it colorful, and make it crazy. The fun will go on rain or shine indoors in the new crafts room next to the ice cream and pizza parlor. Our staff will offer helpful hints to make your Tie Dye event extra creative. Please buy a $5 T-shirt in advance at the Madison Reception Center or BYO T-shirt.
1 – 2:00pm:
Super Soaker Wagon Ride Battle
Jefferson Event Center
Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water guns. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers, often lurking behind poles and bushes, ready to hose off the kids as the wagon rolls along. Super soaker squirt guns are available for sale in the Madison Reception Center. This is a kids vs adults’ competition to see who gets more drenched! Of course, our staff will be monitoring this big time, super fun action. Kids will meet at the Jefferson Event Center.
6:00pm:
Carolina BBQ Chicken Breast
Jefferson Event Center
Our secret BBQ sauce will make our choice, extra-large chicken breasts, bone in, cooked to moist perfection, a tasting experience. This dinner event will include delicious sides of wild rice, house salad and fresh vegetable medley, complimenting the secret special East Carolina style BBQ sauce. Apple pie ala-mode will be the correct way to top off such a flavorful meal. Seating is limited seating. Please reserve your tickets by Friday at 6pm in the office or call 540-948-4186.

Live Music: The Unsuitables

The very talented band named UNSUITABES will play your favorites and have you dancing the night away on the Event Center patio. Starting with very cool dinner music, the beat quickens as you roll out of the Event Center on the Quadrangle for some really good live music.
Sunday July 2
10 – 11am:
Craft Time: Patriotic Arts & Crafts
Polk Crafts Room
The kids will craft with foam and paper special designs and symbols, such as patriotic flags, stars and stripes. Patriotic necklaces, crowns and picture frames will be made by the kids to wear and show off throughout the weekend.
12 – 1:30 pm:
Pie Eating Contest
Jefferson Event Center
To continue the fun, what could be better than an old fashion, super fun pie eating contest. We will have two flights: kids 16 and under and adults, and we will have of up to 12 kids or 12 adults in each flight. With hands behind their back, we will have a generous portion of vanilla whipped cream pie for the adults and the kids you to devour, face down. The first person to finish will win a $50 gift certificate from Amazon. This event is PIE-licious.
2:00- 3pm:
Foul Shooting Contest
Reception Center
This will be a straight forward “who makes the most out of 15 foul shots” competition that will be broken into two flights: kids under 16 and adults. The winner of the adult flight scores a $50 Amazon gift card while the winner of the kids flight wins a free splurge of two scoops of our finest ice cream or milk shakes at our Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor for three friends / family and, of course, the winner (four splurges total).
3 – 4pm
Cornhole Tournament
Quadrangle
The first 15 twelve, two person teams (six teams for kids and teams for the adults) who sign up will enjoy a single elimination format of tournament corn hole. Each team will compete in their bracket where you either win your match and advance or you lose and sit down. Our staff of judges will make the determinations for each match as to winners and losers. Winners of the adult bracket and the kids bracket each receive a $50 gift certificate at Yoder’s Amish Market that has incredible sandwiches, pies and a host of everything else.
2 – 8pm
DJ Music
Event Center Patio
Our favorite DJ “Chip Harvey” who gets everybody in an “even better mood” with his broad assortment of tunes will be ready to spin your favorite music. He loves to jam and loves to entertain his audience. During dinner, his “background” music selections are just right, and then as dinner winds down, the hits just keep happening. Dig it.

Juicy Lucy Burgers & Hot Dogs

Enjoy the finest, grilled to perfection “Juicy Lucy Burgers” and award-winning Nathan Hot Dogs in a casual All-American dinner. We will have all the fixings for your Juicy Lucy Burger or Hot Dog: homemade potato salad, coleslaw, and more. Of course, your ticket includes with fine beverages. For dessert, a chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse decorated with an American flag frosting that is really strikingly beautiful. At $6, this special meal cannot be beat. Sparklers: For the Fourth, Of Course

We are pleased to invite you to join us as we illuminate the night sky in celebration of the Fourth of July. As part of the festivities, we will be distributing sparklers to children under the age of 14. These colorful sticks of light will provide a safe and enjoyable way for the youngest members of our community to commemorate our nation’s independence. Let us join together in a joyful display of patriotism and spirit that have made this great country what it is today. We ask that all our RVer guests not set off their own fireworks this weekend as they simply are not allowed in our park.
Monday July 3
10 – 11am:
Photo Treasure Hunt
Polk Crafts Room
Open to kids under 18 and their parents/siblings, we will organize a delightful and interesting “Photo Treasure Hunt” to find unique “treasure!” A Photo Treasure Hunt is an exciting way to explore and discover the beauty of the outdoors and our rather unique Property. The aim is to locate specific items and take pictures of them as evidence of their discovery, all within a fixed time period. We will have hidden clues and riddles on each list of items given to the kids who then will to walk about the Property to discover their items as listed. All under kids who patriciate and more or less complete their list of Photos will enjoy a free ice cream cone from our Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor provided they have made a good faith effort to find and photo the treasures described on their list.
5:30 – 6:30pm:
Bingo & Pasta Dinner

Come meet your friends and neighbors while enjoying a pasta dinner with your choice of iced tea, lemonade or an adult beverage (or two) of your choice. We will be serving two types of pasta: a classic spaghetti with red marinara meat sauce and a favorite white sauce fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread. When this tasty pasta is done enjoyed, we transition at 6:15pm to a fast paced Bingo that has a 100% payout from the purchase of our five game card pack for $5 (cash only). The payouts from each game are progressive, thus making for a spectacular final fifth game! Tuesday July 4

Our homemade pancakes, served hot off the griddle with butter, original maple syrup, complemented with juice, apple turnovers, fresh fruit, and fine coffee, make for a perfect Sunday as you say Bon Voyage to your friends, old and new.
