5:00 pm – Social Hour & Trivia – Fillmore Pizza Parlor

Get your weekend started right with a fun and friendly evening! We’re hosting a casual get-together featuring good food, great company, and a bit of friendly competition. Unwind and enjoy the start of your weekend with friends and fellow guests. Savor a classic Philly Cheese Steak, oozing with cheese and packed with flavor, or try another one of our specialty sandwiches, paired with a delicious side. The meal costs only $8.00.

At 6:00 PM, get ready for some brain-teasing fun with our trivia event! Teams of two can compete to answer a variety of questions. The team with the most correct answers will win a prize! Get your thinking caps on and prepare for a night of laughter and friendly competition. Don’t worry if you’re not a trivia expert – it’s all about having a good time! We can’t wait to see you there for an evening of relaxation, great food, and friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend!

Friday, February 20th

5:30 pm – Social Hour & Bingo – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for a fun evening of bingo! On tonight’s menu: Jambalaya and White Rice. The meal costs only $5.00. Around 6:00 pm, we will transition into three or four fast-paced games of Bingo. Bingo cards are available at the door for $5.00 and are good for all games.

Please purchase your $5.00 meal tickets by 2:00 pm Friday at the office.

Saturday, February 21st

10:00 am – Family Craft – Polk Room

Join us in a fun kids craft! This craft, we’re bringing the vibrant spirit of Mardi Gras to life with a mask-decorating extravaganza. Grab your glitter, feathers, and beads, and get ready to create bold, colorful masks that are as festive and unique as you are. It’s time to sparkle, shine, and let your creativity loose! The cost of this craft is $8.00 and please sign up in the office.

11:00 am – Musical Chairs – Polk Room

Get ready to move, groove, and laugh out loud! It’s time for a fast-paced game of Musical Chairs, where quick reflexes and a little bit of strategy can make all the difference. When the music plays, dash for a seat—but watch out, there’s always one less chair than players! Let the fun and excitement begin!

12:00 pm – Bead Toss – Polk Room

Come play a Mardi Gras Bead Toss game! There are two partners, one who will be throwing beaded necklaces, and the other one will be trying to catch them with their head. Everyone will be given the same amount of necklaces and the person who has the most around their neck wins! 

1:00 pm – Slime Making – Polk Room

Get ready to stretch, squish, and sparkle! This week, we’re diving into the magical world of sparkly slime. Mix, knead, and watch your slime come to life with glittery goodness—it’s messy, magical, and totally mesmerizing. Let your creativity shine and have a blast making your very own sparkly masterpiece!

2:00 pm – Sticky Note Challenge – Polk Room

Ready, set, stick! It’s time for the Sticky Note game, the ultimate test of speed, strategy, and silliness. Grab a stack of sticky notes and a willing partner—because for one wild minute, the goal is simple: cover them with as many sticky notes as possible! It’s fast-paced, hilarious, and guaranteed to bring out everyone’s competitive side!

3:00 pm – Find the Baby – Polk Room

Let’s dig into this Mardi Gras tradition where you have to find the baby! We are doing it a little differently… you will get a piece of cake and in every piece will be a little plastic baby. With your hands behind your back, you will have to dig through the cake with your mouth and find the baby. When you find the baby you must stand up and race to the finish line with the baby in your mouth! The first person to cross the finish line wins!

6:00 pm – Mardi Gras Dinner – Jefferson Event Center

Dinner Menu: Traditional Cajun Shrimp Boil with Andouille Sausage, Red Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Cajun Cornbread, Fresh King Cakes flown in from New Orleans.

For anyone with spice sensitivities or shellfish allergies, please notify the office in advance so a substitute meal can be prepared.

Cost of the meal has not been set yet, but all meals range from $10.00 to $25.00 depending on what’s being served. Please purchase your meal tickets by 2:00 pm Friday at the office.

Sunday, February 22nd

9:00 am – Sunday Breakfast – Jefferson Event Center

Before you head home today, come on down to the Jefferson Event Center for a hearty breakfast. Enjoy Andouille Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Fried Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, Juice and Coffee. All of this for only $8.00.

Please purchase your $8.00 meal tickets by noon Saturday at the office.
