Fourth of July Weekend

WEDNESDAY 7/03

5:30- Bingo – Grilled Nathan’s Colossal Hotdogs – $8/person – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for Nathan’s Colossal Hotdog with all the fixings and baked beans before a round of Bingo.

Food is $8 per person.

Around 6:00, we transition to a fast-paced Bingo with a full payout.

Our five-game card pack is only $5.00 (cash only) to win about $150.

8:30 – Movie Night “Sandlot” – Quad

On the lush astroturf, we will host a HUGE outdoor movie screen (bigger than Texas) with massive speakers, so you will feel the nostalgia of watching the classic movie “Sandlot”! To complete your movie night, we will sell “movie packs” with a soft drink, popcorn, and candy bar for $5.

Sign-ups for movie packs are appreciated.

THURSDAY 7/04

10:00 – Ceramic Piggy Bank Painting – Polk Room

Paint a festive ceramic at the Polk Arts and Crafts room. Larger ceramics ($7) and smaller ceramics ($4) are a hoot to paint with holiday themes. Ceramics include rainbows, dinosaurs, unicorns, aliens, and more! Use your imagination and our special sparkles to make these “works of art” come to life! Buy your ceramics in advance at the office.

11:00 – Tie Dye Special – Washington Complex

Children and adults are invited to create the best design for your tie-dye T-shirt. Make it colorful and crazy. The fun will go on rain or shine. Our staff will offer helpful hints to make your tie-dye event memorable. Please buy a T-shirt ($8) in advance at the office or BYO T-shirt.

12:30 – Horseshoe Tournament – Horseshoe Pits

The first eight two-person teams who sign up will enjoy a single elimination format of tournament horseshoes. The winning team receives two Amazon gift cards ($25 each). *Must sign up ahead of time by calling the Office

3:00 – Super Soaker Wagon Ride – Jefferson Center

Kids will board the hay wagon, carrying their mega water squirters. Bins of water on the wagon will keep the kids squirting at the RVers, who have hoses aimed at the wagon to squirt back! This is a kid vs adult competition to see who gets totally drenched!

6:00 – Smoked Pulled Pork by our very own Pitmaster Tony! – $15/person – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for an amazing Smoke-Pulled Pork dinner with smoked macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, fresh tomato, cucumber salad, rolls, and a decadent chocolate cake for dessert—all for only $15.00.

8:00- Dusk- Sparklers: For the Fourth, Of Course – Basketball Court

We are pleased to invite you to join us as we illuminate the night sky in celebration of the Fourth of July. As part of the festivities, we will be distributing sparklers to children under the age of 14. We ask that all our RVer guests not set off their own fireworks this weekend, as they are simply not allowed in our park.

Adults required to attend kids.

FRIDAY 7/05

10:00 – Kids Fingerprint Star Painting – Polk Craft Room

Join us for a fun and easy patriotic star fingerprint craft. First, we will cut out a star and

put the star on a piece of paper, then begin randomly making fingerprints along the star

using red, white, and blue paint; then remove the star cut out and voila! A patriotic star!

11:00 – Patriotic Diamond Art Keychain – $2 – Polk Craft Room

Join us for a fun and easy diamond art keychain craft. Using crystal design, a patriotic key chain.

Signups are appreciated.

12:30 – Free Throw Contest – Basketball Court

This will be a straightforward “whoever makes the most out of 15 free throw shots” competition divided into two flights: kids 16 and under and adults. The winner of each flight will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

2:00 – Scavenger Hunt – Polk Craft Room

Join us for a delightful and interesting “Photo Scavenger Hunt” to find

Madison Vines’ Treasures are scattered throughout the property!

All kids under 18 who participate and complete the list will enjoy a free ice cream cone from our

Fillmore Ice Cream & Pizza Parlor.

3:00 pm -Golf Cart Parade – Parking lot near Jefferson Event Center

Go big and decorate your golf cart, bicycle or scooter to join our parade line. Guests can decorate with flags, lights, and other decor and join our parade line starting at the parking lot near the Jefferson event center. We will then cruise the property to show off your patriotic decor! Gift cards will be given to the top 2 decorated and most creative carts/bikes or scooters.

4:00 PM Billiard Tournament – Taylor Billiard Room

We are offering a $10 buy-in 9-ball tournament for the first 8 people who sign up.

Legally pocket the 9-ball to win your match on our tournament-quality Olhausen tables.

The final two people compete in an 8-ball tournament for the $80 pot.

SATURDAY  7/06

10:00 – Kids Craft – Polk Room

Come down to the Polk and create your Memorial Day Picture Frame so you can remember this weekend forever.

This game requires teams of two to catch a fragile water balloon thrown over a long distance by a teammate. Play continues with teams tossing the water balloon to one another until only one team is left. Each winning team member gets a free scoop of ice cream from Fillmore Ice Cream Parlor.

Enjoy a 14-hour smoked prime rib brisket, mashed potatoes, green beans, tomato wedges, homemade cornbread, and peach cobbler with whipped cream for dessert. All for only $20.00.

7:00 – Live Music: Tommy Woods– Quad

Grab your chairs and blankets, and don’t forget those ice-cold drinks to listen to

country music singer: Tommy Wood!!

Kids will be given free glow sticks and bubbles to play while you listen to the music.

SUNDAY 7/07

9:00 – Fourth of July Breakfast Galore – $8 Per Person – Jefferson Event Center

Join us for Breakfast, where we will serve 4 Cheese Quiche, Crab Quiche, fresh Danishes, breakfast pizza, and fresh fruit and juice.
