Fiesta Party with Luminaria Display

Friday September 23

5:30pm-6:30pm: Social Hour / Bingo

Please come chat it up with our popular “Meet Your Neighbor” social hour event that includes tasty homemade Taco Dip with tortilla chips, iced tea, lemonade, or a thirst quenching variety of domestic and imported beers and California red and white wines as well as margaritas for some added fun. Soon after the “Happy Camper Hour” begins, the focus merges to our 100% payout Bingo: a fast paced affair with five cards for $5 (cash only). A super gourmet chocolate basket awaits the winner of the last game.

Saturday September 24

10:00am–11:00am: Build your own stuffed animal!
Event Center
Purchase your extra cute stuffy at the Reception Center for $10 (small) or $15 (large) and then enjoy the art of sharing your stuffy animal with our guests at the Event Center. Please buy your stuffy when you first arrive as this is a very popular craft event.

11:00am-12:00 noon: Arts and Crafts
Event Center
Create your own Mexican Flag craft to show off to your family and friends. Or make your luminaria lanterns for tonight’s display. Each luminaria are unique and should express your individuality.

1:00pm-2:00pm: Piñata in the Quad
We will celebrate the enjoyment of the fiesta with colorful tradition of the Pinata. There will be age groupings for each of the Pinatas. We will provide a bag for goodies you’ll get from inside the colorful pinatas. Be sure you are there by 1:15pm to get your shot at the pinata.

2:30pm-3:30pm: Family Cornhole Tournament
Come to the Quad to cheer your family and friends striving to win a spirited cornhole tournament. The tournament will be a single elimination format with the first 32 teams to sign up assigned to one of four brackets. Prizes for the top finisher will include a choice of a gift card or a Madison Vines store gift certificate.

5:00pm: Taco Fiesta Event

Let’s continue the fiesta atmosphere with an offering of Beef tacos and Burritos, Mexican rice and a fresh corn / tomato salad. We will have a special Tres Leches cake for dessert. We will feature margaritas with dinner as well as iced tea, lemonade, or a thirst quenching variety of domestic and imported beers along with California red and white wines. Advance tickets required (Adults $12; Children 12 and under $8)

7:15pm Luminaria Decoration and Wagon Ride
Come by the office before 5pm to pick up your Luminaria supplies to decorate your site. At 715pm, set out your Luminaria at your site. A luminaria is a small paper lantern (commonly a candle set in some sand inside a paper bag) which is of significance in New Mexico and the broader Southwestern United States. They are cultural hallmarks of the Pueblos and Hispanos of New Mexico, and are a part of New Mexico’s distinct heritage. If you want to ride the wagon to view the Luminaria meet outside the Event Center to grab your hot chocolate (spiked or not) and get on our wagon for a ride through the resort.

Sunday September 25

9:00am-10:00am: Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a complimentary stack of our homemade, hot off the griddle pancakes, served with salt free or regular butter, authentic maple syrup, juice and coffee. What a civilized way to start the day.

10:30am-11:00am: Granola Bar Bingo
Event Center
Take home a tasty treat when you win at a spirited game of Granola Bar Bingo. We have a feeling all of our RVer guests will be winners.
